​ABOUT: Jens Bengt Willem Verner-Carlsson is a trained decorator with a Federal Diploma in Image Concept with

Text Creation and for Interior Design. 1993 - Following his self-proclaimed never-ending lifelong study, Verner-Carlsson

has worked on various architectural projects and renowned concert- and theater stages both in Switzerland and abroad

PHOTOGRAPHY:    

Verner-Carlsson is a self-taught photographer and videographer, and has completed further training in digital and

analog photography at the Zurich University of Arts - ZHdK and the St. Gallen School of Design.

GASTRONOMY:

With the attidude of "You are what you do," Verner-Carlsson isn't afraid of any job. Jens grow up in the world of gastronomy, partly through his parents, who ran a French auberge for decades. This is why Verner-Carlsson also occasionally works for catering and restaurant companies. les halles / catering, Zurich - Suisse, sûr le pain / catering - France, Auberge Ker-Lina - France.

 

MUSIC & SOUNDS & PARENTS:

Verner-Carlsson's father, Piet-François de Boer (world's best father of three children and architect) / Verner-Carlsson

is a talented accordionist and rhythm guitarist, and sailor , which inspired Jens to sing and accompany his songs on guitars as

a street musicien at the age of 15. Pictures-, stories- and music-inspirations also led Verner-Carlsson to work as a singer and

songwriter. Sounds? Jens is strongly inspired by sounds of whatever, as these naturally add effective image support in the

theatre world as harmoniously as possible.

Jens Verner-Carlsson's Mother, Ewa-Elin Verner-Carlsson (world's best mother of three children) /de Boer from Schweden,

emigrated to Switzerland with her parents for economics reasons. Ewa-Elin born in Gothenburg, moved to Stockholm with her

parents. Later in Ewa's youth, her parents decided to emigrate the landlocked country Switzerland. If you were born and raised

by the sea, this is hard. That's why Jens's parents traveled from Switzerland to the seaside whenever possible. Today, both

parents live on the west coast of France, where they spend their retirement years enjoying a simplified lifestyle. Because Jens

(born in Zurich City) viewed his birth as a journey with his parents, and was able to marvel at the Atlantic at very early age, even

as a five-year-old toddler, the west coast of France became a kind of extended home.

Ewa-Elin Verner-Carlsson / de Boer has a huge knowledge and skills from her life-long studies in the fields of art and

cultural history, theatre history of directors and actors. And she is one of the world's best cooks, food plate designer and connoisseur of stylish table decorations and flower bouquets. In short: not in an unnatural, cold, artistic style!
